I just got our of a meeting with our developers and we have some exciting new features slated for the next week or so!
We spent the last few weeks cleaning up some bugs and beautifying our reports in preparation for our new updates.
Now that we have 97% of the bugs cleaned up, we can start getting back to the fun stuff which is building new features and functionalities into the software!
Over the course of the next few weeks, you should really start to see us cranking out a lot of new features & functionalities!
Here's what we are working on next:
We are currently working on adding the ability to save ALL of your Estimate data with your Templates.
Currently, when you save an Estimate as a Template it only saves the Categories, the Descriptions, Quantities & Prices, but we know you also want to be able to save your SOW Notes, Labor Notes & Material Notes (SKU #s, etc.)
Once we add in the ability to save ALL of this data with a Template, you will truly be able to create Custom Estimate Templates that are customized with all of your own categories, repairs, prices, SOW notes, & SKUs which will save you hours of time re-creating estimates, SOW notes & material lists for your projects!
This week we are starting on the highly anticipated and honestly long overdue Print to PDF reporting for your reports.
Currently, you can only share your reports using the Share Link option, but our new Print to PDF reporting will allow you to create a downloadable PDF documents that you can use to attach to emails or print hard copies.
We are starting with our two most popular reports, the Investment Packet & the SOW Document.
With our new Print to PDF functionality you will be able to Print your Scope of Work Report to a PDF that can be shared with your Contractors.
However, a PDF document has limitations and doesn't allow you to make additional customizations to your SOW. To solve this problem, we are evaluating adding an Export to .Doc file feature that will allow you to export your SOW to a .doc file that will be compatible w/ Microsoft Word, Google Docs or Apple Pages.
This will give you the ability to take advantage of the powerful document creation features you are familiar using in Word, Docs & Pages.
Our Estimate Summary & Detailed Estimate reports are currently packaged with with the rest of our Financial Investment pages in our Investment Packet Builder, but some of you have asked for a completely separate Estimate Report that you can share or print separately from your Investment Packet.
For this solution, we will be building a separate Estimate Report that will only have your Estimate data so you can share your Estimates separately without the other project financial information in the Investment Packet.
