New Schedule Lag and Lead Options
Now you can build Lag and Lead Times into your project schedule dependencies for tasks that need a delay or a head start.
Lag ('delayed starts')
Lag can be used to build in 'delays' into your project schedule.
Lag Time Examples:
For example, let's say you get your countertops measured and it's going to take 10 days for the counters to be fabricated, delivered and installed. You could build in a 10 day 'lag' into the dependency between measurement & installation to show that delay.

Leads ('head starts')
You can also build in a 'head-start' to your dependencies if you want a task to start earlier.
Lead Example
For example, in your schedule you may have Exterior Painting starting after the Windows have been installed, but let's say you want your Painters to come out 1 day early to start the prep work (taping off windows, caulking trim, etc.).
